When a truck and trailer spend their lives working, traveling and facing British Columbia weather, keeping them clean takes more than a quick wash.
For this recent truck and trailer detailing project, the Vybrant Mobile Detailing team completed two different levels of service designed around the condition and needs of each vehicle.
The truck received our comprehensive Gold Detailing Package, which includes a complete interior and exterior detail with shampooing. This truck and trailer detailing service removes dirt and odors to restore crispness inside the cab and on exterior surfaces.
The trailer received an exterior wash. It then underwent machine-cut polishing and a protective wax application to improve its finish and bring back its shine. The process protects surfaces against weather and road grime. Each step is performed with attention to detail to ensure uniform coverage.
These services help maintain resale value and provide long-lasting protection for both truck and trailer.
Gold Package Truck Detailing

The truck needed attention inside and out. Our Gold Package was the right choice.
We started with a thorough exterior cleaning to remove accumulated road grime, dirt and contamination from the body, wheels and exterior surfaces.
Inside, the focus shifted to restoring the cab.
Our Gold Package included:
- Thorough interior vacuuming
- Carpet and upholstery shampooing
- Cleaning of interior panels and surfaces
- Cupholders, consoles and storage-area detailing
- Interior finishing and final inspection
- Complete exterior wash and detailing
Shampooing is valuable on trucks that see regular work or travel. Dirt, dust, and spills can become embedded deeper in carpeting and fabric than vacuuming can remove. This makes deeper cleaning more necessary.
Embedded soils can affect appearance and odor. Shampooing supports a thorough restoration of upholstery and carpets. It complements routine vacuuming and helps fabrics last longer.
A significantly cleaner cabin and a refreshed exterior resulted.
They did not need to take the truck to a detailing shop.
Trailer Wash, Cut Polish & Wax

The trailer required a different approach.
After thoroughly washing the exterior, our team performed a cut polishing treatment.
Machine polishing helps improve the appearance of painted and finished surfaces. It removes a very small amount of the damaged or oxidized upper surface. Depending on the condition of the finish, this can help reduce oxidation, dullness and light surface imperfections while restoring gloss.
Because trailers have such large exterior panels, oxidation and weathering can become particularly noticeable over time.
Once the polishing stage was complete, we applied a protective wax.
Wax provides a sacrificial layer over the finish while increasing gloss and helping water bead from the surface. For trailers that spend considerable time outdoors, routine washing and protection can make ongoing maintenance considerably easier.
Why Trucks and Trailers Need Specialized Detailing
A truck and trailer combination presents considerably more surface area than a standard passenger vehicle.
There are also very different detailing requirements between the two.
The truck has:
- Interior fabrics and carpeting
- High-touch surfaces
- Wheels and tires
- Painted body panels
- Glass and trim
A trailer introduces large exterior panels that are constantly exposed to UV radiation, rain, road contamination and environmental fallout.
That means the best approach isn’t necessarily using one process on everything. That is because we assess each part of the vehicle combination and use the appropriate cleaning, correction and protection process.
Mobile Truck Detailing Makes Large Jobs Easier

One of the biggest advantages of professional mobile truck and trailer detailing is convenience.
Moving a large truck and trailer to a traditional detailing shop can be inconvenient—and some detailing facilities simply aren’t designed to accommodate oversized vehicles.
Vybrant Mobile Detailing brings professional equipment and detailing services directly to the vehicle, allowing trucks, trailers, RVs and commercial vehicles to be serviced where they are parked whenever site conditions allow.
For owners of work trucks, recreational trailers and commercial vehicles, that can mean significantly less downtime.
Protecting the Finish After Polishing
Once a trailer has been polished, adding protection is important.
Wax provides an economical protective layer, while owners looking for longer-lasting protection may also want to consider professional ceramic or graphene coatings.
Regardless of the protection chosen, properly maintaining the surface afterward helps preserve the results of the correction process.
Regular maintenance washing also prevents road film and contamination from accumulating to the point that aggressive cleaning is required again.
